I was able to finish the CNC stand over a couple weekends.
As real-estate in my garage is at a premium, I decided to go with an up-right stand for the computer and monitor, and place the whole thing on a rolling base. As well as giving the computer more of a 'machine room feel' it also allows me to easily move it out of the way when not in use.

Setting up the base. The tabs are used to retain the computer and prevent it from sliding off.

Test fitting the monitor. I angled it at 20 degrees for easier viewing. As mentioned in a previous post, I had also converted it to touch-screen.

Test fitting the computer. I had a couple of older servers laying around from a previous business venture and decided one of them would make a perfect CNC controller. The case has a locking front door and the power supply and other components are server-grade.

Working perfectly!
It's almost time to make some more chips...
